Market Day Tracker
I’ve been doing markets for several years now. Some have been great, while others … let’s just call them character-building. But recently, I realized that unless I take time to reflect on more than just the numbers, I forget the details that actually help me grow. Was the crowd a good fit for my products? What made me smile that day? Which items didn’t move at all? These small things matter, especially when I’m deciding whether or not to return to a market or recommending it to another vendor.
That’s why I created this Market Day Tracker — not just to tally up sales, but to hold space for the full vendor experience. Writing down what sold (and what didn’t) helps me prep smarter for future events, and jotting notes during slower moments keeps me grounded in the present. Capturing the highs, the challenges, and the little surprises as they happen has completely changed how I approach market days — and now, I hope it can help other makers and small biz owners do the same.
